Amber Reese is a 2015 graduate of the Bachelor of Fashion (Design) (Honours) program at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. She is a conceptual and perceptive thinker who divulges her thought methodology through the discipline of fashion, transcending into projects that negotiate menswear and womenswear. Additionally an enquiry into decoration is evident through both the cut of cloth and surface embellishment, relating techniques to natural manifestations or a historical perspective in order to imbue adornment into the integral construction of her work.
Amber presented her 2015 graduate collection as part of the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week RMIT Emerging Graduate Runway. She was also a recipient of the 2015 Forever New Scholarship, including $20,000 funding for final year university expenses.
Amber's graduate collection saw her selected as one of the top five graduate faces to watch in Australia by the Australian Fashion Chamber, and she was also selected by RMIT University to present her graduate collection at London Graduate Fashion Week in June 2016 as part of the International Catwalk Competition.
Amber currently works as a Design Assistant in Melbourne, Australia.
